I'm a born-and-raised North Carolina native, dog mom, sister, auntie, godmother, and friend. When I'm not in the office, you'll likely find me listening to music or a good audiobook, trying a new recipe, or spending time with my spoiled fur baby, Apollo.
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), I earned dual master's degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from North Carolina Central University. I've had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and young adults in schools, college campuses, and community mental health settings.
I believe therapy begins with a genuine connection. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth, creating a space where you feel heard, supported, and accepted. When working with children and adolescents, I also partner closely with parents and caregivers because meaningful growth happens within the relationships that support them.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: If you can change your mind, you can change your life. Sometimes, the smallest shift in perspective can create the biggest change, and I'd be honored to help you discover what that looks like for you.
